I really liked the slouchy tailoring that Chanel showed, and the fact that everything was styled so effortlessly. Chanel suits are one of the most “uptight” garments in the luxury world, I thought it was impossible to make one look young and cool, without it being a trend to dress like a 50 year old. But Karl has done it for this show. There was also quite a few beautiful cocktail and evening pieces, all in shades of black, which a few white accents. My only question is, why does he bother with the menswear? Does it actually sell anywhere? Or is it just so there are naked boys changing backstage? (That’s reason enough, as far as I am concerned.)

the styling: fabulous cream suit, fingerless gloves (SO Karl), head band, skinny jeans underneath the skirt, and flat, slouchy boots. Plus Chanel bag. Amazing.
